Return Policy
If you are simply unhappy with the product, you may return any item within 60 days of delivery.
Most other stores will charge 20%-30% of a re-stocking fee, but we waive it for you. Although your furniture is shipped to you for free at our cost, we do not charge you back for our outbound shipping expense. And you would not be charged for shipping handling fee either. But in fairness, you would be responsible for return trip shipping fees. You would be given a refund via check less the return shipping fees. All returns must be returned in their original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition.
To return, simply contact us and obtain a RMA number. Returns without an RMA number will not be processed. All returns must be returned in their original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition.
Non-Returnable Items
· Custom orders (i.e. products that are built-to-order or personalized in any way)
· Items that are not in original condition.
· Items that are not in the original box with sufficient packaging materials.
· Large quantities or project quotations: When ordering large quantities or special orders for large projects, we suggest ordering a sample for evaluation, as some manufacturers will not allow returns on large quantities.
We offer ONE YEAR manufacturing warranty to fully protect you from product defect.
We warrant that the merchandise you purchase from Washingtonian Furniture will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of your receipt of the merchandise. This warranty applies to you as the original purchaser only, and only to merchandise that has remained at the original delivery site. In the unlikely event that there is an issue with the furniture and you need to process a claim. All you need is to send us a written notice of the defect within one year of the original date of delivery. You need to provide clear documentation (i.e. photos) showing the defect. If there is in fact a manufacturer defect, the defective item will be re-ordered from the manufacturer.
We cannot guarantee the exact dimensions of our products. Due to the manufacturing process, it is possible that there can be slight differences in the quoted vs actual dimensions. Our one year manufacturer warranty does not apply to product defects resulting from weather conditions (applicable for outdoor furniture).
Colors/Shades/Inspections
We do not guarantee exact color, tone, shades, or finishes on any item because screen settings may vary from computer to computer. For the best depiction of item color, set your screen so that other items in the picture seem to be in their natural color. If you are trying to match items with other items you already have, you must do so at your own risk. Please read our return policies before making a purchase.
Additionally, when purchasing items made with leather please be advised that color shades can vary from dye lot to dye lot. If you believe there is a substantial color discrepancy, you must write in the discrepancy on the delivery receipt. Failure to do so will release Washingtonian Furniture of all liability.
A manufacturer defect or color related issue can be filed within 14 days of receipt of merchandise. If our inspectors confirm there is a quality related defect, or substantial color difference, you may re-place the original order at no charge, or receive a full refund. After 14 days of receipt, the defective item will be replaced with a same new item.
What should I do if my shipment arrives incorrect or damaged
When the merchandise is received, we ask that you inspect the inside and outside of the cartons for any shipping damage. In the event there is damage to the cartons, contents, or packaging, or you receive the incorrect product, please note it on the freight bill as "DAMAGED IN TRANSIT" and report the damage to us within 24 hours.
If your order is damaged you must email us a clear picture showing the damage within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please also retain the original packaging unless otherwise directed by our customer service department. Once the carrier picks up the item and brings it back to our distribution facility, you may either re-order the unusable, damaged, defective or incorrect product, at no charge, or receive a full refund.
Missing Parts
If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please contact us within 24 hours and we will provide you the replacement parts free of charge. If we cannot replace the parts, we will have the carrier pick up the package and we will provide you a replacement. All returned products should be in the original packaging.
Items that Do Not Fit
In the event the merchandise does not fit into your room or house, the delivery company will not return the merchandise without an authorization from Washingtonian Furniture. This item can be returned under our 60 day standard Return Policy. You would be responsible for return trip shipping fees. You would be given a refund via check less the return shipping fees.
Cancellation Policy
If you choose to cancel your order after it has been placed within 24 hours, you are eligible for a full refund via check. All cancellations must be communicated to us via email and sent to customerservice@washingtonianfurniture.com. Please note that for a full refund, you must email us within 24 hours of purchase, including weekend purchases.
